Aerodomestics are fully functinal, ultra-light, even flying furniture, which draw on the formal richness of kite building.
Sail fabric and aluminium tubes form tensile structures whose usable surfaces double as wings for flight. The project takes mobility to the extreme and plays with the conditions and possibilities of a hypermobile way of living.
In a playful way, it creates real solutions for temporary, dynamic living situations. The first two objects are shelves, as they offer a neutral
grid-structure for testing different construction methods. Further typologies as chairs and tables are in development.

Canopia A sunshade resembling a canopy of leaves, casting a lively dappled shade.
When sitting beneath it, the sky remains visible through the lattice.
It can be extended and retracted, allowing the density of the shade to be adjusted and enabling the canopy to be stored compactly.
Leander is a stool to lean on, inspired by exoskeletons and the search for the minimum structure needed to support a body.

Lucid Drawing A collective drawing tool for the 2024 Graduate Show at the HFBK Hamburg. Overhead-projectors were assembled to a large surface and equipped with rolls of film that stretched across them. Visitors were invited to draw and write on the films and respond to previous, overlapping drawings. Turning the rolls moved the films, creating new juxtapositions and associations. The outdated teaching aids were thus repurposed as a platform for collaborative exchange.
The Crying Knife is a knife for onions, that cries to keep you from it.
The hollow handle filled with water, shedding a drop with every cut,
that neutralises the onion’s acid before it reaches in your eyes.

The Radiator Flask is a cooling element made of clay, which in dry, warm climates is able to cool the surrounding air through evaporative cooling. The elements are bisque fired and filled with water, which is transported to the surface by the porous clay. The areas of darkened clay indicate the fill level.
When warm air flows around the objects, the water evaporates by absorbing energy from the air and thus cooling it down.
The modular design allows for self-contained objects, as well as standing or hanging spatial structures.
By translating the form and production method of finn radiators into clay, a high surface-area is achieved.
This way an ancient cooling method is made more efficient and accessible, while conveying the importance of ancient knowledge for dealing with today's environmental conditions.
Ground Contact Based on reflections on space travel, an installation was created featuring stretched, cable-bound “bodies” connected to a motor housed within a first-aid kit, making them rhythmically “breathe.”
The work reflects the relation between the organic and the mechanical, revealing a tension between empowerment and dependence.
